Magazine Says NO To A Kim Kardasian Cover

Kim Kardashian has been on the cover of hundreds of magazines in the United States, South Africa and all over the world, ranging from Cosmopolitan, People to Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and Glamour. But there’s one magazine that's missing on that list. Unless she becomes more than just a reality star who is essentially famous for being famous you most likely never will. Wonder what that mag is?

Elle magazine says no to Kim Kadashian craze. Though the reality star has been featured in the mag, she is yet to be on its cover. Now we may just have an answer to why she is yet to grace the cover of this mag.

One would have thought that with all the publicity Kim K's divorce has garnered, everybody would be dying to feature her on their magazine covers. Why deal, Elle?

“Kim is a big cover star out there and if Kim had something going on in her life right now — Kim’s very quiet — I just wish that she would do something, but she’s not doing anything,”
said Elle Magazine’s creative director, Joe Zee.
“If she actually did something, we would actually think about Kim for the cover. It’s about new. It’s not about, so much, a reality star. The idea is, are they newsworthy? Is it someone our readers want to read about?”

Ohhkay! Do we now applaud Elle or what? They do raise an important point. Why have people who have nothing to offer for their fame take the spotlight from people who actually have creative talent?

She may never grace the cover of Elle magazine, but here are a bunch of glossies that felt Kim did just enough to land on the front.

Clearly people are buying into the Kardashian brand. Look mense, whether we like it or not flash in the pan celebs will always be part of our culture. If Kim and her family faded out of the spotlight today, there will be someone else to replace them tomorrow. Before Kim, there was Paris and Nicole!
