Fat Joe Says Hip Hop Is Run By GAY Mafia

Say what? Prolific Emcee tells VladTV that the music industry is filled with gay rappers. Fat Joe is speaking out about homosexuality in the rap game and thinks everyone should be more open about their sexuality, telling gay rappers to “rep your set.”

Fat Joe says he’s “pretty sure” he’s worked with artists who are gay, noting that there are “millions of gay people in the world.” He adds that homosexuality in hip-hop is more prevalent than most fans thinks, stating that there’s a “gay mafia” that has influence through their work at radio stations, magazines, and award shows.

Gay Mafia running the industry. Interesting theory, it actually made me think of a certain house of horror in Mzansi that is running our entertainment industry. The company has eroded the talent and entertainment value of shows that we watch in this country on welfare TV simply because a selected few individuals who hold positions of power are more interested in pushing their own agendas than actuallyy commissioning shows that will showcase Mzansi's true talent. Instead we are bombarded with boys who can't even present to save their lives and you wonder how they could have possibly gotten the job. #justsayin

Anyway, Joe is not the only rapper that has called out on gay rappers to come out. Just in September this year, The Game came out (not in that sense) telling gay rappers to come out of the closet. In an interview with Atlanta radio station 107.9,  he said that while he doesn’t have a problem with gay people, he does with rappers that hide their sexuality.

The Game said;
“I think there are several rappers that are in the closet and gay, and see those are the type of gay people that, the only type of gay people that I have a problem with,”
 “Game don’t have a problem with gay people, Game has a problem with people that are pretending not to be gay and are gay because the number one issue with that is that you could be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die and so that in the closet shit is real scary. So, we’ve got to get into the real seriousness of it and it’s just not fair to other people. If you gay, just say you gay. Be gay and be proud.”

if u listen to the video of Phat Joe talking about the gay mafia in the entertainment industry it is actually in a positive light, and empowering..but by jst reading ur article without watching the video, one would think the opposite was infact true. this is because ur opinion on the gay mafia in our entertainment industry is negative... im a fan of ur work Phil, but what bothers me is that ive noticed that every-time you mention gay people u always have something bad to say..
