Usher Is Coming To South Africa

Hansa Pilsener has officially announced that American RnB star Usher will headline the beer brand's Hansa Festival of Legends concert. The American singer-songwriter, dancer, entrepreneur, and actor has just teamed up with David Guetta to release their much anticipated hot new track Without You. HE has also being a hot topic in the media this week after he was attacked by a woman for parking in a handcapped spot while attending an event at his son's school.

Usher, and a list comprising South Africa's top urban music stars will be performing at the Johannesburg leg of the tour, taking place at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto. There will also be concerts at Cape Town's Grand Arena at Grand West and the ICC Durban Arena. 

The sudden influx of American superstars to our shores is a great thing for the local entertainment industry. One can only hope that this gap between the US and SA as it gets closed will also encourage collaboration between our stars and the international artist thus ensuring that our talent gets the recognition around the world it deserves.
