Justin Bieber Buys His Friend A Car
What did you get for Christmas this year? If you are like Ryan Butler and have a friend in high places you would have gotten a car.
Justin Bieber - who is worth about £54 million after just four years in the spotlight - wanted to share some of that fortune with his friends and family back home in Canada.
While staying in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario, over Christmas, the 17-year-old gave his childhood friend the keys to a white Mustang convertible.
Ryan Butler today shared a picture of the new two-door ride with his 652,845 followers. He said simply:
'Justin got me a present. #swag!!!'
The pair grew up together in the city and Ryan's British-born parents, Martin and Sharon Butler, took the budding singer under their wing when he was just five.
Justin can afford to splurge on his friends, the guy is worth millions of dollars. All the more sweet given that just less than four years ago the boy was living in what Canadians call low-housing neighbourhoood while being raised by his single mother with the help of her parents.
He was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun, who came across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager.
Braun arranged for him to meet with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bieber was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher, and then to a recording contract with Island Records offered by L.A. Reid
Bieber fever reached an unprecedented high never been seen before since the days of The Beatles. Of course that quantum leap to stardom came with a lot of ching. From the first single “One Time”, he has made over $250,000 in 2009.
With a debut albumn that went to number 1 on Billboard charts and spun many popular songs like One Less Lonely Girl, Baby, Somebody To Love, Eenie Meenie, the cash kept rolling in.
He also get paid a lot of money by sponsors when traveling around the world for concerts, and also for TV appearances, magazine interviews , commercials, etc.
On August 2010, it was reported that Justin Bieber earns a minimum of R2,5mil per concert, which means he was making more than a number of other artists, Drake (R1,2mil) and Jordin Sparks (R600 000).
Now, lets make analysis on available figures which happen to be in year 2010, Justin had over 120 concerts dates in the US. And most of them were sold out.
So, 120 concerts x R2.5 00 000 = R3 000 000 000 Don't forget that he also did international tours.
He gets paid from endorsing products such as ProActive and Xbox Kinect. Endorsement also range from Bed Sheets, Fragrance, Nail Polish, Silly Bands, Dog tags, WristBands, T-shirts, Books, i-tunes, CD’s and DVDs.
Forbes currently estimates his net worth at just under R820 000 000. With all that cash he can definitely afford all of his friends Mustangs if he wanted
