SABC 2 Apologises

After a rather embarrassing incident last month Sabc2 decided to apolosise for the mishap. I got a suprising call the other day to meet with the channel's publicitst. 

Upon my arrival to the meeting I was treated to a free lunch and offered a sincere apology for the debacle that happened with the Morning Live launch.

Last month we were invited to the launch of the new revamped look for the channel's morning show, Morning Live. 

On the day of the event we arrived at the venue only to be told that the event had been cancelled. 

Events get cancelled all the time but what made this situation rather annoying was the fact that we were not alerted of the changes before we got to the venue on the day. 

I am happy to announce that the channel has unequivocally apologised. Given that I have personally always had a good relationship with the channel I accepted their apology. 

Ok maybe the lunch and gift pack were a motivating factor in my being so readily forgiving!!

As for Morning Live, I was told that plans for the revamp and launch are still on hold indefinitely.
