Tshego Malepe Bringing SA Stars To Her Hometown

Word is that come Saturday the Vaal will be the place to be as South Africa's hottest young stars head to the "triangle" to celebrate Q-Base presenter's homecoming. The event aptly named "Hometown Glory" is an initiative that aims to take the stars back to the people. 

Young celebrities will be going back to their home towns to pay homage to the people and the streets that  helped them grow and become the stars that we all love. 

Though the initiative is mainly based on charitable efforts by the said stars, it is also an opportunity for to party in these stars' home town. 

Now ... ya'll know that I love a good party, right?

Nthabi Mphahlele

The event, presented to you by City Lights Entertainment And Urban Afro Entertainment, will be MC'd by Muvhango's (Meiki) - Nthabi Mphahlele, Dance Your Butt Off presenter - Relebogile Mabotja and Golda - who according to the event's Facebook group is a "Video Personal".

What the hell is a "Video Personal"? Do they mean "Video Personality"? Do we even have such people in Mzansi?

A host of young hot SA stars will be in attendance. The likes of Hlelo & Ntando Masina, Ntsiki Mazwai, Da Naked DJ and many other personalities that I personally haven't heard of but are apparently known to the masses.

I am told that this will not just be a party but an interactive event where fans will get to hang out with all the personalities that will be there. There will also be lots of giveaways!!!

So if you are in the Vaal or can get yourself there, the event will set you back R50 with VIP tickets going for R150! According to my count, there are about 30 acts that will be performing on the day so I think R50 is a steal...

Well, I guess nobody will be calling the Vaal Triangle dull anymore after this little shindig if it delivers the fun it promises.
