Gontse Ntshegang Joins Muvhango

This week Muvhango has announceed that the role of Mapule Modise will now be played by one of my favourite young actresses ,Gontse Ntshegang. This multifaceted actress who is not new to our screens will debut on Thursday, 16 August.

Gontse has made an indelible mark in this industry by being one of those "not so famous" stars but when you see her on screen you cant help but fall in love with her earnest acting.

She held her own against industry powerhouse, Moshidi Motshegwa, on Etv's Rhythm City and won hearts all over the country as the ill-fated "Elizabeth wa ko Makapastad".

With all the attention that Rhythm City brought Gontse she still remain one of those artists in our country that are all about the craft before the fame. You would have expected that she was going to be on social pages riding on her new found hype but she did not.

In her new role at Muvhango she replaces Matshepo Maleme as the new marketing gem at Mukhwevo Holdings.

Gontse Ntshegang brings a wealth of experience and a distinctive flavour to the character of Mapule said Kgalema Eugene Mametse, Publicist, Muvhango.
“I have been shooting for the past three months and have settled quite nicely to the role of Mapule," said Ntshegang.
Muvhango is produced by Word Of Mouth Pictures and broadcasts on SABC2 from Monday to Thursday at 21:00.
