Adele Named Entertainer Of The Year

It's kinda easy to forget that Adele did not actually have a new album in 2012. Her mega hit album 21 was actually a 2011 release and boy we still rolling in it. I am personally still a huge fan of 19 (her debut album) and will probably catch on to the 21 craze later.  Anyway we are not the only ones who have lost track

After a year of Grammy glory and James Bond soundtracking, Adele has been voted The Associated Press Entertainer of the Year. Editors and broadcasters were asked to cast their ballot for the person who had the most influence on entertainment and culture in 2012.

In 132 ballots submitted by members and subscribers of the AP, Adele easily outpaced other vote-getters like Taylor Swift, "Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. James, the South Korean viral video star PSY and the cast of "Twilight."

February 2012 was this pop queen's coronation in to the helm of the music industry  She won six Grammy awards, including album of the year. It was also a comeback of sorts for Adele, who performed for the first time since having vocal cord surgery, drawing a standing ovation from the Staples Center crowd.

Oh yah, she also became a new mommy this year rounding up what can only be described as a year of total bliss for the Queen of Heartbreak songs.
