No Tyra And Her Top Models For SABC 1

Word is; SABC1 has removed, America's Next Top Model from its schedule; the model based American reality show from Tyra Banks was set to start in 3 days' time on SABC1 on 1 February at 16:30.

According to reports by industry reporter Thinus Ferreira, the likelihood is high that the SABC didn't secure the broadcasting rights in time, necessitating the last minute pull and schedule disruption.

This is not a far fetched assumption as this sort of incident has happened on numerous occasions before.

Shows have been advertised and/or press releases being sent out to the media about shows that the SABC has acquired when the channel has not finalised the whole process with the international distributors.
