Dingaan Mokebe To Present Speak Out Season 2
Businessman Dingaan Mokebe popularly known as James Motsamai on SABC2’s soapie, Muvhango, will be replacing Duncan Senye and Vuyelwa Booi, who have left the show, when consumer rights show Speak Out returns to SABC2 this month for its second season.
Speak Out is an investigative reality show that assists many viewers and consumers who have been scammed, 'taken for a ride', or robbed out of their hard-earned money by bad service, substandard goods, dishonest business practices or exorbitant charges.
This consumer show plays the role of a 'watchdog', ensuring a fair outcome for the consumer and reminding the public to be more cautious in their purchases and everyday dealings with business and retailers.
The show travels all over the country engaging disgruntled consumers. It also educates consumers about their rights and businesses, and about their responsibilities towards their customers.
“A consumer comes to Speak Out because they have nowhere else to go; they have exhausted all their means and Speak Out is their last hope. This current Speak Out is brave, factual, truthful, trustworthy, and helpful. The show opens the doors that have been closed for the complainant; it leaves no stone unturned in its efforts to ensure the consumer is given a just and fair resolution. We go after the wrong doers who prey on ignorant consumers. Dingaan Mokebe will be the voice to the voiceless in correcting all the wrongdoings,” said Lebo Malete, SABC2 Publicity.
Mokebe is an actor, singer and voice artist who has featured in television productions for Generations, Nna Sajene Kokobela, as a celebrity contestant in Strictly Come Dancing and as a presenter in the Community Builder Show.
He has also featured in number of commercials for Smirnoff Red; Nedbank Million Dollar Challenge; Motsweding FM; Kelloggs; Coca-Cola Mega Millions and Klipdrift. He is an experienced voice over artist and can currently be seen in the role of James Motsamai on Muvhango.
Speak Out (Season 2) premieres on Thursday, 14 March at 21:30 on SABC2
