Top Billing Changing Timeslot (AGAIN!!!)

Yep that's right, SABC3 is once again reshuffling its programming line-up  in an attempt to attract more viewers to the channel.

 Some huge changes in April which includes moving its daily news bulletin to 18:30 and lengthening it to an hour, dumping its comedy block, and moving its magazine show Top Billing to yet another new day and time.

SABC3's premiere lifestyle magazine show produced by Tswelopele Productions was moved to Tuesdays from Thursdays exactly two years ago in April 2011.

While the move might make sense to SABC3's executives, to some of us it just seems like the channel is really lost and does not really know what to do with the show. 

 The show, which last year added Jonathan Boyton-Lee from a talent search competition as well as sprung an an exciting surprise on Mzansi with including Bonang Matheba to the revolving presenters roster, has not being fairing well in the ratings even with those additions. 

Could yet another timeslot change add on to the decline of the show's number pulling charm of yesteryear when the likes of Bassie, Michelle and Michael were the faces that gave us a peek at the fabulous lives of Mzansi and the world's rich and famous? Or will the new timeslot finally rejuvenate the show and correlate its fresh young stars with the numbers.?

I guess only time will tell, Catch Top Billing on it move back to Thursdays but at 20:30 from 4 April on SABC3
