Step Up Or Step Out Season 3 Auditions

Endemol South Africa produced dance reality show Step Up Or Step Out on Etv is back for its 3rd season and now calling for entries, with auditions taking place in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth later this month.

This is the show that introduced Mzansi to VINTAGE who have since become stars in their own right and have been booking gigs all over the country, though they did not even win. 

Who needs to audition or enter?

• Dancers older than 18 can enter 
• Dance crews must consist of atleast three people and a maximum of five.

Where and when will the audition take place?

• Johannesburg on 27 April and 28 April at The Market Theatre Laboratory between 08:30 and 17:30.
• Cape Town on 4 and 5 May at the Dance for All Studios between 08:30 and 17:30.
• Durban on 11 May at the BAT Centre between 08:30 and 17:30.
• Bloemfontein on 18 May at the Bloemfontein Showgrounds at the Iris Hall between 08:30 and 17:30
• Port Elizabeth on 25 May at The Opera House between 08:30 and 17:30.

If you have access to the internet; The application form for Step Up or Step Out is available to be downloaded from e.tv's website then emailed or  uploaded through the website. This will help you or your crew to book a space at the audition venue on the day.

I would encourage that you use the website option so that you won't have to be at the audition for the whole day if the queues are too long. Use technology to simplify your life :)

If you do not have access to the internet you can just show up on time and queue at the venue.

BTW, what happened to season 1 winners, The Stunners? Did they ever do the video with Black Coffee? I don't even know what the crew that won last year is called. 

Shows like this are a great platform but remember that it is your responsibility to take this opportunity and turn it into a career.
