Bonang Matheba Is One Of Africa's Top 50 Trailblazers
Congrats to Bonang Matheba for yet another milestone in her illustrious career. Our Queen B* has made it onto another power list, after being recognised by New African magazine as one of 50 African Trailblazers under the age of 50.
The 25-year-old TV and radio personality joins other powerful South African personalities like Charlize Theron and Lira and Khanyi Dhlomo on this highly coveted list.
The May edition of New African magazine was guest edited by Ghanaian designer, Ozwald Boateng, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and founder of the Made in Africa Foundation. With a line up of African movers and shakers like MTV’s Alex Okosi, Barack Obama, musicians P-Square and D Banj, The Top 50 Trailblazers of the year 2013 are in a league of their own.
“This was such a pleasant surprise to me, because when I wake up every morning to do what I do, its not in search of accolades but it is to perfect my craft, so when I do get acknowledged I always feel very humbled,” says B*.
Needless to say... Bonang Matheba continues to inspire!!!
