Muvhango Star Joins SABC 1 Talent Show

Former Muvhango star Themba Nofemele who, according to Drum, was unceremoniously booted from the SABC 2 show has found a new job. The report by Drum that Themba was fired from the show for having an ego bigger than his talent has been refuted by those who worked with the suave actor. His fans can breathe a sigh of relief now that he is returning to their screens soon. 

Word is that Themba will be joining the new cast of So You Think You Can Dance on SABC 1 when the show retuirns for its third season on the channel. 

SABC1 already had two seasons of the Rapid Blue produced dance reality show in 2008 and again in 2010.

Nofemele will be part of the new faces on the judging panel as some of the judges have not returned to the show. 

I did not know that Themba can dance or knows anything about professional dancing but I am told that in his younger days he was actually a dancer and has been in some big production in this country.

Another name that has been mention is that of Top Billing presenter Lorna Maseko as a judge on the show as well. 

No word from the channel about the show beyond just giving a new season debut date. 

So You Think You Can dance will air on SABC on ... wait, I think they said sometime around Spring :) 

Congrats to Themba on the new gig. Let's hope he will be more articulate than that other guy ...
