More Charges For Oscar Pistorius

Almost forgot that one of South Africa's biggest heros is accused of killing his model girlfriend? Oscar is still awaiting his day on the dock to answer to the charges of murder of model, Reeva Steenkamp. The National Prosecuting Authority has told Pistorius’s lawyers that they plan to charge him with two counts of recklessly discharging a gun in a public place.



The Paralympian’s lawyers have refused to comment on the new charges, which are believed to be part of the state’s strategy to paint Pistorius as trigger-happy.

The charges relate to two incidents. The first occurred when Pistorius allegedly fired his gun out the sunroof of a friend’s car on the way back from a weekend holiday.

The second charge relates to Pistorius allegedly accidentally firing his friend’s gun in a Johannesburg restaurant.
