Brutal Fruit's Mango-Goji Fusion And Its Fans Support Maps Maponyane

Not even Joburg’s thunderstorms were enough to keep the ladies away from male heartthrob, Maps Maponyane this past Sunday. Brutal Fruit’s drink for party people, Mango-Goji Fusion, hosted a vote-a-thon for leading man Maps, who is in the running to become the ‘Ultimate Joop Homme Ambassador’ alongside Selimathunzi host, Lunga Shabalala.

Hosted at Rosebank’s Liquid Chefs, guests were encouraged to vote for the sexy Joop Homme hopeful, while mingling and taking pictures with the hunk.

Celebrities that came to show support included Fashion Designers Gert Johan Coetzee, who recently stole the show at SAFW with his outstanding installation, and Sylvester Falata, TV Personality Boity Thulo, Former Miss SA Teen Celeste Khumalo, Kalawa’s LadyX and Ms Pru.

“Our consumers love Maps Maponyane! As a brand, we love aligning with individuals and initiatives that are dear to our consumers, and Maps Maponyane is one such individual, he has been an unofficial member of the Brutal Fruit family since our community voted him into clinching Cosmopolitan’s “Sexiest Man” title, earlier this year, which is also sponsored by the Brutal Fruit”, says Lulama Mahanjana – Brutal Fruit Assistant Brand Manager.
“I am truly humbled by the outpouring of support I have received from my supporters and Brutal Fruit. I would like to urge everyone to keep up the good work and continue voting by texting ‘Maps’ to 45205”, added Maps Maponyane. Over the next six weeks, Maps and his competitor will go through a series of challenges in an effort to ”outman” each other.

The challenges will test their skills in fitness, style, romance and overall charm, with the winner being announced on 21 November 2013.

Brutal Fruit says it is behind Maps Maponyane all the way.
