Khaya Mthethwa Is Now A TV Presenter

It pays to be a popular contestant on Idols South Africa because if you win or not, your career will be supported by the industry. It is evident that the record number of people who voted for Khaya Mthethwa to win season 8 of Idols have not ran out to buy his music beyond the show. But the KZN talented star need not despair because his on screen popularity has just landed him a presenting gig.

Come November Khaya will make his presenting debut in a show on Mzansi Magic called Gospel Alive.

Every Sunday the Gospel Alive stage will be set on Mzansi Magic for an electrifying praise and worship experience from some of the country’s Gospel megastars including Rebecca Malope, Jabu Hlongwane, Keke and Sipho Makhabane to mention a few.

Fans - both in studio and at home - will get a chance to ask their favourite gospel musicians everything they have ever wanted to know allowing viewers to tap into the artist’s innermost details.
“Gospel Alive means more growth for me holistically and it gives me a great opportunity to cultivate my brand into something bigger. What excites me the most about the show is that it is a fresh concept. This show is going to go places South African Gospel shows have never been before. I am so honoured to be part of it and I can’t wait to see how Mzansi Magic viewers will embrace it.” said Mthethwa
We are more than happy to welcome Khaya into the world of television. No denying that his charm and humbleness will earn him a place at the top of the list in this part of the entertainment industry.

Gospel Alive will air from Sunday, 3 November at 19:00 on Mzansi Magic.
