Vuyo Varoyi’s Name On Everyone’s Lips At SA Fashion Week

South African prolific make-up artist Vuyo Varoyi, who is the current Revlon's National Make-Up Artist, has been hard at work curating the boldest lip looks that will grace the ramps at this year’s SA Fashion Week, which is set to kickoff this week.
Revlon is the Makeup Partner for the Autumn/Winter 2014 showcase.

Vuyo Varoyi, who has been in the industry for 7 years, working with high profile celebrities such as Kelly Rowland, Bonang Matheba, Richard Branson, Lira, and Shashi Naidoo to mention a few, said he could not contain his excitement about this project.

“SA Fashion Week is a great platform for showcasing local talent, and I am grateful to be a part of this. The opportunity has allowed me to tap into my creativity, while having fun with Revlon’s New Super Lustrous range”.
Vuyo’s lip designs will be leading at Gert Johan Coetzee’s highly anticipated showcase this coming Thursday.
“I have been working very closely with all the designers from Fashion Week and I will be collaborating with New York based Make-Up Artist Mara Capps to pull through all the looks."
Varoyi says the bold lip looks – which include different colours on each lip or a blended fade between two different colours – can work for every skin tone and colour because the new lipsticks and glosses come in a wide range.

Experimental and fun lip looks represent a major trend in fashion and Revlon wants South African women to join in. This month, Revlon is set to launch a fabulous Super LustrousTM Lip Campaign, featuring Revlon Global Brand Ambassador Emma Stone and Revlon South Africa Brand Ambassador Bonang Matheba.

For Revlon, Fashion Week is the perfect opportunity to showcase this range, highlighting Vuyo’s work as the National Make-Up Artist for the Brand.

SA Fashion Week kicks off this week on Thursday, 03 October 2013.
