Battle Of the Bulges As Ronaldo Launches An Underwear Line à la Becks
It's the weekend baby and what better way to kick off the fun than with news from Madrid that Portuguese winger Christiano Ronaldo has developed an interest in taking off his clothes to show off his ... uhm ... assets to promote a new gig as an underwear model.
Indeed, the Portuguese soccer superstar has enjoyed a career comparable to the the former England skipper, having followed him to the Bernabeu – now like Becks, the moisturized midfielder launched his underwear line at Madrid’s Palacio de Cibeles on Thursday.
Anyone seen my jeans? Cristiano Ronaldo models one of the designs from his new CR7 underwear range in a monochrome shot on show at the official launch in Madrid on Thursday.
Ronaldo officially launched his new underwear range, CR7with a 19-metre tall campaign image suspended above in the landmark building’s renaissance courtyard featuring the chiseled winger in all his glory.
Ronaldo has previously modelled for Armani Jeans, but his latest campaign marks an inaugural brand venture and his first attempt at fashion designing.
His design debut was aided by Richard Chai – best known for his collaborations with Marc Jacobs and Donna Karen.
But it is the comparison between Ronaldo ad Beckham that will keep fans and the media abuzz once these news gain momentum.
Ronaldo's new underwear range will be available to buy via www.cr7underwear.com from November 1.
