Vuzu Claims To Have Dumped Somizi's Show Over "Violent Confrontation"

Rumours that Somizi's reality show would never see the light of day on Vuzu have been swirling for weeks after the show fails to air on its advertised date. No explanation was given by the channel but this week it seems the channel has had a change of heart and want to spill it all. In a statement Vuzu says it cancelled the show following alleged violence committed by the star during the shoot.

Yolisa Phahle, the director of local general entertainment for South Africa at M-Net responded to media inquiries in a strongly-worded statement;
"Vuzu has cancelled production of the recently-commissioned reality series Raising the Bar with Somizi,"
"Vuzu does not condone violence against any individual or group,"
"Violence is a serious concern in our society and as a broadcaster we take issues of social responsibility very seriously,".
Unfortunately as this story develops, it raises more questions than answers. Who did Somizi get in a confrontation with? Why?

Why is the channel only deciding to reveal this now and not in January when it decided to can the show?

Gotta say, I am a tad disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing the show.
