Bonang Joining Metro FM

Sunday World reports that Bonang Matheba has bagged the mid-morning show on the country's biggest commercial radio station, MetroFM. The news comes soon after Queen B announced her departure from youth radio station YFM.

The tabloid paper reports that B* denies any knowledge of such a job and qoute her as having said ;
"No one has spoken to me about opportunities at MetroFM. The only meeting I know that I am going to have with the SABC next Wednesday is about my work on SABC3," she said.
SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago told the paper that MetroFM's new lineup had not yet been finalised.
"There are many things that get considered before a lineup can be finalised," he said.
"Many people have been spoken to, but that does not mean anything is confirmed at this stage.
"That Bonang is joining MetroFM remains a rumour."
A top SABC executive, who spoke on condition anonymity, is alson reported to have told Sunday World that Bonang will replace Siphokazi January, the host of the 9am-noon Full Circle show, from April 1.

True or not?

As coveted as the media wants us to believe a job at Metro is, Bonang has build her career on being one step above the rest in this industry and I do not see a job at Metro as a step higher for her.

We'll just have to wait and see.
