Former Mr India South Africa Finally Makes His TV Presenting Dream A Reality

Johannesburg born, Durban raised and former Medical student at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, Tevin is not just an Indian guy but a South African guy, if you catch my drift. His charm transcends the screen, which might have had something to do with his Top 4 placing in Joanne Strauss 's Presenter search competition last year.
With Jo Anne Strauss's Samsung Online Presenter competition, Naidu was able to jet off to the Reunion Islands and get some personal tips and presenter chops honing from industry pro Pabi Moloi.

Easter Mosaic Presenters: Jailoshini Naidoo and Tevin Naidu |
Now, the guy who told The Magnifying Glass publication that he wants to star in medical Tv shows such as Scrubs, Grey's Anantomy and House has finally made his professional television debut.
I have to admit, watching his first episode he did look a bit unrelaxed, which is understandable given the magnitude of the moment and the iconic stature of the show. As a fellow presenter, I also understand that it takes a few shoots for one to settle into the role with crew and the feel of the show.
I was not crazy about the pairing between him and Jailoshini Naidoo either. They looked more like mother and son than co-presenters. Can you imagine pairing Lunga Shabalala and Bassie Khumalo to present a show? Yeah, it would look a tad odd.
That said, we are proud of Tevin and welcome him into the industry. I am hoping for more great things for this guy. He has a potential to have the cross over appeal like Sashi Naidoo.
He also comes across as grounded and humble, so that would go a long way in giving him longevity in this business.
For his debut episode Tevin posted this to his Facebook friends;
Huge thank you to Imraan Vagar for his guidance and support. Joining Eastern Mosaic as a presenter has been a truly rewarding experience.
I hope to continue to learn from the legend that is #ImraanVagar and take this show to new heights!
Congratulations to Tevin Naidu. He is a dreamchaser that has proven once again that; if you keep chasing that dream and working hard to make it a reality, it will likely come true.
