Bonang To Host The Safta 2014 Live Red Carpet Coverage

In a statement released today, SABC3 has announced that radio and tv personality Bonang Matheba will be hosting the live redcarpet coverage for the 8th South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) which will be broadcast live on SABC3 this Saturday, 05 April. 

In the build up to the live awards ceremony, SABC3 viewers will be treated to a 30 minute insert from 19:30 – 20:00 on all the red carpet action:  from fashion highs to fashion faux pas along with interviews with top television personalities and movie stars.

The two-hour glitzy awards ceremony, taking place at Gallagher Estate, will then be broadcast live on SABC3.

The hosts for the main event will be comedians Tumi Morake and Alan Committie.
