Official Word From Bonang"s Camp About Her New MetroFM Gig

In a press release just landed in my inbox, Bonang Matheba's management has officially confirmed that the rumours of the Queen Of Media joining Metro FM are true. B* will be hosting a slot on the SABC station called Front Row.

The press release;
If you aren’t seated in the first three rows at a show during
Fashion Week, you might as well stay home. Front Row is where the power
players and the crème de la crème of the fashion world sit. That is exactly
what media queen, Bonang Matheba, is hoping to grant her millions of
listeners at Metro FM: front row seats to all things fashion, lifestyle,
relationships and entertainment news.

Less than a month after it was announced that Ms Matheba would be leaving
YFM, after joining the youth station in 2009, Queen B* expressed her joy at
this new appointment. “I will always be grateful for my time at YFM, because
that is where my love for radio was birthed. After being there for 5 years, it
was time for me to explore other avenues in my quest to take my
broadcasting career to new heights. Metro FM is without a doubt the perfect
platform for this”, said the enthusiastic host of Metro FM’s The Front Row.

Furthermore entrenching her status at the forefront of entertainment media,
Bonang is redefining what it means to be a quadruple threat in Mzansi
Entertainment.

When asked if she would be able to cope with her ever
growing work schedule, Bonang replied,

“There is nothing I love more than
working and being busy. I always ensure that all the projects I take on, are
aligned to my interests and my passion, that way, it doesn’t feel like a ‘Job’”,
concluded Bonang.

Be sure to grab your front row seats on Metro FM, and don’t miss out on the action as Bonang causes an on-air distraction. The Front Row airs weekdays at 09:00am – 12:00pm, only on Metro FM.

Gotta admit, as I did in my previous post about this, I did not see this one coming. Congrats to Queen B on yet another gig.
