Zone 14 Star Dies At 37
SABC1’S Zone 14 actress star Thuli “Tjovoo” Simelane has died. The actress was reported by Sunday Sun on Sunday as having passed on in the early hours of Saturday morning in Johannesburg.
Her mum Jane Baloyi told Sunday Sun on Saturday that the actress was admitted at the hospital four weeks ago.
Mis Baloyi is quoted by the paper saying her daughter spent 3 weeks in ICU and was diagnosed with pericardial effusion.
In January last year, the same heart condition landed the popular streetwise actress in hospital after she had collapsed during the filming of Zone 14
Simelane leaves behind four children. Her funeral will be held in Meadowlands Zone 4, Soweto, on Saturday.
