Isidingo To Retain The 7PM Timeslot Post The World Cup

Word in from SABC3, as of Monday, 14 July, viewers will be able to catch the channel's daily soapie Isidingo in its new SABC3 time slot of 7:00pm.

In a year that’s ushered in a new Head Writer in the form of Rohan Dickson, not only has the authentic storyline grown, so has Isidingo’s viewership. The show, which is 16 years old, has also enjoyed a significant increase in Facebook and Twitter traffic as social media keeps fans gripped in conversation in-between shows under the guidance of Executive Producer Pumla Hopa.

SABC3 has taken our audiences views into account by bringing Isidingo into an earlier timeslot. The change is in line with the new schedule changes coming up.

“SABC3 has taken our audiences’ views into thoughtful consideration and is excited in bringing you Isidingo into an earlier timeslot of 7.00p.m. This forms part of the channel’s new schedule changes that will be taking place from July onwards” commented Aisha Mohamed, Head of Bouquet SABC3 on the new Isidingo timeslot.

With a storyline as dynamic as the extraordinary actors that make for captivating viewing, Isidingo is sure to welcome even more new viewers to its new time slot, while keeping the loyal many tuned-in and happy. Endemol, the show’s producer, is also promising viewers exciting new twists, as well as the introduction of some new faces to the already stellar cast in the weeks and months ahead.

Isidingo’s time is now, and come Monday its stage will be set in action from 7:00pm. Only on SABC3.
