Jeannie D To Host The LIVE Broadcast Of The Durban July On SABC3

SABC3 announced today that Top Billing presenter, Jeannie D, will be the main host of the Durban July coverage this weekend when Mzansi's fashionistas congregate in the Zulu Kingdom at the Greyville Racecourse, bringing you all the dazzling fashion and sophistication from the annual event.  

Starting at 14:30 with a live 30 minute red carpet summary as well as 2 hours of the main event; this live broadcast will feature the best of South Africa's annual and most prominent event from celebrity interviews to fashion with superb horse racing.

Jeannie D will be on the Vodacom VIP Paddock red carpet, the broadcast will also have Morning Live and SABC Sports anchor Vaylen Kirtley as the main racing commentator bringing viewers the best in thoroughbred trainers, celebrated designers, former jockey’s, latest betting’s, and all the excitement of the final race.

The recently crowned most stylish male celebrity and Expresso host Katlego Maboe and the flamboyant Somizi Mhlongo will be our roving reporters on the ground who’ll be covering all the glamour of this year’s theme ‘‘Bolly, Nolly, Hollywood’ from numerous points at the race track, guaranteeing viewers do not miss any fashion highlights. 

The Vodacom Durban July takes place on Saturday 5 July and will be broadcast live from 14:30 to 17:00 on SABC3.
