Strictly Come Dancing Contestant's Mom Has Passed Away
He has fast become a fan favourite for being the gentle giant of the show but viewers will miss ex Blue Bulls rugby player John Mametsa this week as he will be taking time off to deal with the passing of his mother.

“We will miss your strong presence and warm heart my buddy. R.I.P mama John”.This is the second time that a passing of a loved one has affected the show's contestants. Last year, then contestant Connie Ferguson, had to miss appearing in an episode when her mother passed during the production of the show.
