Idris Elba's Bulge Turns Out To Be A Mic Wire... NOT WHAT YOU THOUGHT!

No lengthy investigation was needed, on Saturday the star of Long Walk To Freedom, British actor Idris Elba, disappointed a lot of fans by confessing that the pictures that caused a social media frenzy were just a case of mistaken identity. The "Idris Elba Bulge Mystery" has been solved.

Recent photos of the popular British actor, seemingly showing off his "asset" on the set of his new movie, A Hundred Streets, sparked an online firestorm and sent scores of fans' hearts a-flutter but it turns out that the bulge was just a mic wire.

Actors wear concealed mic wire where a boom mic might not be practical to use. They are the same as the ones presenters would use but in case of actors are concealed.

The actor spoiled the fun by revealing via Twitter;

"The good news is i got a s--tload of followers," the 41-year-old actor tweeted on Saturday. "The bad news is, that is a mic wire. #egowentintospaceshipmodethough"
