Bonang To Host The Inaugural South African of the Year Awards Live Broadcast On ANN7

Following her successful stint as a host at the nominees party last weekend Bonang Matheba will be the host of ANN7's first South African of the Year Awards (SATY's) which will be taking place this Saturday, 6 September, in Johannesburg. 

The event will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre.

South African artists Lira, Mafikozolo, Zahara, MiCASA and Junior Mambazo will perform, as well as Nicole Scherzinger and The X Factor UK finalist Ella Henderson.

Nominees will contend in the following categories;

• Trendsetting celebrity of the year, 
• Campaign of the year
• Sports person of the year
• business person of the year 
• Spirit of Humanity award 
• Young South African of the year
• South African of the year

Broadcast times:

• Pre-party broadcast from 18:00 until 19:00, then 
• Red-carpet coverage from 19:00 until 19:30, and then t
• LIVE ceremony from 19:30 until 23:00.

The South African of the Year Awards will be broadcast live on ANN7 (DStv 405) on Saturday, 6th September.
