Man Claims He Got A 'Gay Demon' From Sharing A Swimming Pool With Men | TB Joshua Delivers Him

Lawd knows I tried to stay away from this TB Joshua media frenzy and the subsequent madness of other wannabe TBs telling people to drink petrol. However this latest story I received courtesy of a my blog reader in Nigeria, just had me in stitches. Prophet TB Joshua reportedly recently delivered a gay Nigerian man, Thaddeus, and made him ‘straight’. Wait it gets better ...

Sharing his testimonies during a live programme on Emmanuel TV, Thaddeus, a Nigerian man from Imo State revealed that the ‘gay’ demon has been chased out of him after an encounter with Prophet TB Joshua.

“I was travelling to Asia and had a long stopover in an African country where he stayed in a hotel with a swimming pool. I went for a swim with fellow men, then went to eat and sleep. That night, in a dream, I saw myself swimming in the same swimming pool naked with other men. When I woke up, I was sweating and the ‘gay’ demon entered me,” he revealed. 

“I realised that I no longer had passion for women, but rather began to develop passion for men like me, yet I was a Christian,” he further revealed. 

As a translator in his church, Thaddeus continued assisting in the church while still living that lifestyle and “indulging in these sinful desires”.

One day, his pastor asked him to go to The Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN for deliverance. 

“On arriving at The SCOAN, I was in one of the many overflow canopies and could not get a pass to enter the church. From nowhere, an old woman who I have never met before handed me a pass, saying, ‘Here, take mine and go inside.’ As soon as I entered, Wise Man Christopher approached me, and I lost control of myself until I was finally delivered in the name of Jesus Christ,” Thaddeus narrated.

Now, after his deliverance, he testified that his desires have changed and he no longer has passion for men but rather for women. He can now pray and read his Bible without distraction and diversion

“Now I am delivered, I no longer have affection for men but for ladies. If you come across someone with the same problem, you should not condemn. The only answer is deliverance,” he concluded.

Hey... I am not into questioning the validity of gay cure and of course there is that little issue of churches using fake testimonies to sell an ideology to their congregation. 

However, I do find it very interesting that just when TB Joshua's church is embroiled in a scandal of being accountable for the death of 115 people, somehow the church's TV channel suddenly has to bring up homosexuality. 

This is no co-incidence. Religious institution have been using the common hate for homosexuals as a way to defect attention from the real issues for years. 

It comes as no surprise that TB Joshua's church would want to go that route too. If there is one thing that most Nigerians are passionate about, is their common hate of gays. So better way then to stop people from focusing on the fact that Joshua was warned about the building before and his claim of terrorist sabotage failed to catch on, than to turn to gays.  

Of course TB Joshua would happily allow his ministry be used for such ignorance and prevarication if it means he gets off the hook from being accountable for the deaths that happened under his watch. People want answers, and he does not have them. 

Back to Thaddeus. This guy actually claims that being in a pool with men got the gay demon into him. Seriously?! Swimming with men is a sure way to being possed by a 'gay demon'. Go figure. 

Why are these 'gay demons' preferring swimming pools... is it the whole speedos situation?

And here I thought those Pretorians drinking petrol and eating grass were bizarre. Thaddeus is not the first person to claim to be cured of his gayness by the holly spirit. 

Famous Gospel singer Donnie McCluckin also claimed that he was cured of his gayness

In 2002, McClurkin wrote on a Christian Web site that he struggled with homosexuality after he was molested by male relatives when he was 8 and 13. 

“I’ve been through this and have experienced God’s power to change my lifestyle,” he wrote.  

“I am delivered and I know God can deliver others, too.” 

In 2007, the Grammy-winner made headlines when he was part of a gospel concert for the Obama campaign. At the time, he denied being a homophobe.

"Don't call me a bigot or anti-gay, when I have been touched by the same feelings," he said. "When I have suffered with the same feelings. Don't call me a homophobe, when I love everybody. ... Don't tell me that I stand up and I say vile words against the gay community because I don't. 

I don't speak against the homosexual. I tell you that God delivered me from homosexuality."

Yah ne...
