Thando Thabethe Bags A Nivea Endorsement Deal

Someone's gotta say it... dzaaaamn it pays to be on SABC1. First it was Pearl Modiadie, who after toiling away on Etv moved to SABC1 and within a year she bagged an Avon deal, now another former etv presenter who just joined SABC has gotten attention from brands and nabbed an endorsement deal. 

Former Club 808 presenter and now host of SABC1's DJ talent search 1s and 2s, Thando Thabethe announced via Instagram that she is the new face on Nivea.

Announcing the news to her Instagram followers she said:

I could not be more excited to finally announce that I am officially the new face of Nivea South Africa…a brand I started using as a kid and can now represent as a young woman #Nivea #BlueIstheNewBlack #GodsGrace

Thabethe may not fall under the category of 'It Girl' yet but certainly her move from etv to SABC is paying off. She now counts herself as one of the "Brand Endorsers" girls thanks to welfare tv. 

Thando is also a DJ on the SABC radio platform. She hosts Beats By Demand 10am-2pm on 5FM.
