AUDITIONS: Competition For Walk-on Role On Generations

For some reason I chuckled when I got this. Anyway... Ya'll know Generations is returning in December with a whole new look, cast and direction. I also told you that the creator of the show Mr Mfundi Vundla said the show would be going younger to appeal to a younger audience. Well he wasnt kidding... now they will be launching a competition to get you hooked. 

Anyone can be on the new Generations. even YOU! The competition, which will give one very lucky fan a walk-on role, kicks off on Sunday 5 October.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

- Record an original video audition in which you’re reading a monologue of your choice.

- Audition videos must be between 20 and 30 seconds long.

- Send your video to myaudition@generationsextra.co.za. Only emails will be considered.

- Make sure to include your name, surname, age, home language and contact details in the email.

- Closing date for entries is 7 November 2014.

- Entrants must be over 18 and have a South African ID.

HOW IT WORKS

- Every week the judges will pick the 10 best videos and share them with the fans.

- Fans will then be asked to vote for their favourite.

- The two videos with the most votes will go through to the finals.

- The finalists will be asked to audition at Generations Joburg studios on 19 November.

- The in-studio auditions will be placed online and the fans will start voting for their favourite.

- The person with the most votes walks away the winner and will join the Generations cast.
