Charice Tells Oprah That Her "Soul is Male"

Remember that sweet faced Asian girl with a big voice who appeared on Oprah few years ago? Well she looks totally different now.
After shocking many fans last year by revealing that she is lesbian, Filipina singer Charice sat down with Oprah for her Where Are They Now series and confirmed to Mama O that not only is she a proud lesbian, but that her 'soul is male!'
The native of Laguna, Philippines first found fame when she guested on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2007 and on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2008, the latter featuring a duet with Celine Dion.
In 2010, her self-titled debut album debuted and peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200. The single "Pyramid" reached No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100, while an earlier track, "Note to God," hit No. 44.
Also in 2010, Charice joined the cast of "Glee" in the smash show's second season, playing a foreign exchange student and rival to Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry.
But it was her appearance on Oprah that catapulted her to superstardom. It was then a poignant full circle moment, as O would put it, for her to open up about her sexuality and identity to the woman who gave her the world stage to live her dreams.
