Khanyi Mbau's New Dance Film Gains International Interest

Ms Mbau is on fire these days — even if this time is just by association. The latest TAMS ratings show that her talk show is the number one in the country and now a film starring the former Queen of Bling is taking on the world.

Mbau stars in South Africa’s first dance movie called, Hear Me Move, which is fast gaining international interest and will be shown at the fourth African International Film Festival.

The festival will run from November 9-16 in Nigeria.

The invitation came before the film has been released and will appear as a preview screening.

Hear Me Move will highlight South Africa’s township-bred dances, sbujwa and pantsula, and has been in the making for six years

Mzansi audiences will get to see Hear Me Move, which is dubbed as our very own version of the Step Up franchise on its release early next year.

While Mbau is not the lead actor, her presence in the film will certainly boost its appeal to the audiences.

More on this film's journey as I get the information... until then watch the trailer below;
