SABC To Provide Coverage To The Respective Funerals Of Meyiwa, Mwelase and Mulaudzi

Just in: The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) will be broadcasting the funerals of the late Ms. Phindile Mwelase, Mr Mbulaeni Mulaudzi and Mr. Senzo Meyiwa respectively.

Ukhozi FM, which is based in Durban, will be broadcasting live the funeral and proceedings of Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates Captain, Senzo Meyiwa, from 09:30 until 15:00.

This is a dedication by the station to the fallen soccer star and is also a way to affording listeners an opportunity to be part of the farewell, even though they will not be at Moses Mabhida.

The station will also cover the funeral of professional light welterweight boxer Ms. Mwelase, with journalists reporting the proceedings with live crossings from Ladysmith throughout the day.

Polokwane based radio station Phalaphala FM, will have live crossings to former Olympic 800m silver medallist , Mr Mulaudzi’s funeral as well as Mr. Meyiwa’s with continuous updates on Ms Mwelase’s funeral.

On television, SABC News will have live crossings from all funerals on its 24-Hour news channel on Dstv channel 404.

SABC TV and Radio news crew will also cover the funerals.
