The X-Factor SA Introduces New Companion Show On SABC3

SABC1's talent search show The X Factor SA will be introducing a companion show on its sister channel SABC3. 

The X-Factor SA which airs on SABC1 on Saturdays at 18h00 will be adding The Xtra Factor which will be on SABC3 at 20h00.

The introduction of a companion show follows the format done by the UK version of The X-Factor 

The only difference is that The UK one happens immediately after the weekly episode, much like talkshows "After the Show" segment in America,  whereas ours only airs a week later. 

The show gives a behind-the-scenes look at the week's episode and performances  as well as commentary from the contestants about the critique from the judges.

The show will also engage with the viewers and get their reaction to the week's performances. 

The Xtra Factor premieres on SABC3 at 20h00 from Friday, October 25. It will run until The X-Factor SA finale on Saturday, 13 December.
