MTVBase Dedicates An Entire Month To Naija Superstar Wizkid

Wizkid has been named as the first ever "Artist of The Month" on the channel. The channel will feature programmings featuring the  "Ayo" star for the entire month of November. 

In celebrating the young African star MTVBase will broadcast these shows to highlight the musicians' success; 

• A Day In The Life: Wizkid (19:00 CAT, Thursday 6 November) – exclusive footage from Wizkid’s London tour and show as well as a host of never before seen footage including Wizkid’s son singing!

• The Truth: Wizkid (19:00 CAT, Thursday 13 November) – Wiz gets a step closer to his fans as he answers their questions submitted via social media. This is the only show where you will see Wizkid tell The Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but The Truth….

• Videography (19:00 CAT, Thursday 20 November) – Take a walk down memory lane with Wizkid’s personal videography as he countdowns five of his biggest videos to date.

Included will be a rotation of  favourite Wizkid hits such as “Show You The Money”, “In My Bed”, “On Top Of Your Matter”,  “Caro”, “Bombay”, and a host of other hits

The special broadcasts and song rotation will be supported by short programming inserts like “Spotlight”, where they delve into Wiz’s meteoric career, and “Top 5 Tips To Be A Starboy”.
