SHOCKER! Janice Dickinson Adds Her Name To Bill Cosby's Alleged Rape Victims
Former Supermodel, ex America's Next Supermodel Judge and TV host Janice Dickinson is adding her name to the women who have accused comic Bill Cosby of sexual assault. With rape allegations against Bill Cosby mounting, Dickinson tells US entertainment news show, ET, in a new interview that the comedian sexually assaulted her in 1982.
Dickinson told "Entertainment Tonight" that she wrote about the assault in her 2002 autobiography, but that Cosby and his lawyers pressured her and the publisher to remove the details. She said her new account is a "true story."
The 77-year-old Cosby, who was never criminally charged in any case, settled a civil suit in 2006 with another woman who claimed she was assaulted.
Cosby, who has remained silent, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. His lawyer has called the renewed accusations "discredited."
"Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact they are being repeated does not make them true," the attorney statement reads.
"Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work. There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives."
Netflix reportedly said to ET late Tuesday it was "postponing the launch of the new stand up comedy special 'Bill Cosby 77.'"
