Thami Mngqolo Working On A Project For Mzansi Magic
With the debut of the new Generations just under two weeks away, tv fans are probably wondering what is happening to the fired Generations 16's careers at the moment. Well, Thami Mgqolo, best known for playing Senzo on Generations, has moved on.
Much like the popular eKasi Stories films on etv (they pull a decent 3 million viewers in ratings), Loxion Bioscope films are a low budget productions made to highlight lives in the country's townships.
I am told that Mngqolo has actually signed on to do more than one film for the channel. While many may see the actor's move from the country's highest rated show to low budget films as a step down, I am told that Mngqolo is just happy to be working.
Well good for him. Celebrity status does not pay the bills in this country. Thami is a father and he's gotta pay the rent.
