AUDITIONS: SABC1 New Talent Show Looking For Singers

SABC1 has bought the right to the international format reality show The Sing-Off SA. This is the new talent competition show the channel is adding to their lineup and they are looking for singers. Auditions to be held country-wide this month.

In The Sing-Off SA groups will compete singing acapella like The Soil. The winning acapella group of The Sing-Off South Africa will get a recording contract with Sony.

The success of The Soil has proven that there is a huge market in South Africa for acapella music.

AUDITION DETAILS
 

RULES:

• The maximum number of members in a group is limited to 5
• The group will have to perform 3 songs - each no longer than 3 minutes.

The judges encourages groups to add choreography, creativity and costumes to enhance their performances. CREATIVITY IS KEY.

Auditions place in Johannesburg, Polokwane, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban during March.
