Former Generations Star Zikhona Sodlaka To Host A Show on BET

One of South Africa's most prolific television and film stars; Zikhona Sodlaka (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom; Generations), who just happens to be one of the 16 fired actors from Generations has joined the league of his former comrades who have bounced back from that dark time in our industry's history. Sodlaka is now on BET. 

As I reported here last year a new show called Top Actor SA will be looking for South Africa's finest actor. 12 of the best up and coming aspiring actors in South Africa have been selected to struggle it out on camera, in front of big industry names hailing from Hollywood and South Africa for the inaugural title of Top Actor SA. 

 

Living under one roof, there will be drama in the house and on the screen as they compete on actual film and television sets for a career-launching prize package that includes: R100,000 (Cash Prize), Hollywood Management and a potential role in a Hollywood movie shot in South Africa or an exciting local television or movie opportunity. 

The premise of the reality talent show will result is that every week the young hopefuls face elimination based on their performance in the various demanding acting challenges until the unltimate winner is announced.

The Urban Brew produced show debut April 2nd on BET, DSTV channel 129 at 19h55.
