IsiNdebele SABC News Anchor Mhlekwa Mahlangu Dead At 39
Just in; SABC's Ndebele news anchor Mhlekwa Mahlangu has passed away following complication from respiratory problems. She died on Sunday at the age of 39.
Mahlangu joined the SABC in 2002 with the introduction of Ndebele and Swazi language TV news bulletins on SABC1 and was the SABC's first female Ndebele TV news reader.
Before she joined the SABC Mhlekwa Mahlangu, who started her media career at the Winterveldt community radio station in 1996 as a Ndebele news reader, worked as a freelancer for the SABC as an election reporter from 1999 to 2001.
