Former Selimathunzi Presenter Dosto Noge Returning To TV

One of the most recogniseable faces of TV from the 90s, Dosto Noge, who was a long time presenter of the SABC1 show, Selimathunzi, is returning to television after a long hiatus.

Noge will be joining another SABC alum, Angie Diale, who hosted Relate on Mzansi Fo sho, on a new reality show on Mzansi Magic.

Diale and Noge will host a show called Please Step In on Mazansi Magic. The show is centred around the chaos of everyday life among families. The pair will dive into family drama and try to help such family mend fences and resolve their issues.

While some may be tempted to compare the show to Khumbul'ekhaya, the channel insists that it is not a rip off. Firstly, the show engages family on various issues that may be causing a rift between them . This is not a missing persons' show.

Commenting on the channel’s creation of a second docu-reality series this year, M-Net’s Director of Local Interest Channels Nkateko Mabaso says that the channel recognizes and appreciates that its audience has an appetite for honest programming like Please Step In, if these programmes are handled with care and consideration for all those involved.
“We are committed to developing this genre further and hope that at the end of the day, we can provide compelling entertainment that inspires participants and home viewers to find solutions to the problems currently occurring in their lives. We are also pleased to have Angie and Dosto on board, and we are confident they can stimulate meaningful and healthy interactions.”
Catch Please Step In on Mzansi Magic on August 31st at 20h00.
