BET Top Actor Renewed For Second Season | AUDITION DETAILS

BET has renewed Top Actor for a second season, with a twist. The show is reportedly dropping the exclusivity to South Africa in its second season to include contestants from Kenya and Nigeria. 

For season 2, the show is changing its name from Top Actor SA to Top Actor AFRICA to accommodate Kenyan and Naija acting hopefuls. 

Auditions for the show will be held in Johannesburg, Lagos and Nairobi in October and the selected hopefuls will stand a chance to win the $10 000 USD prize money as well a representation with a Hollywood International Acting Agency. 

To audition you; 

• Must be aged between 20 and 30 years old
• Must have a valid passport
• Must NOT have a criminal record
• Must be able to speak English fluently
• Must be available for filming the show between 23 October and 15 December 2015

Audition dates and venues; 

• Nigeria - Lagos 

Venue: Protea Hotel Leadway [1 Mogambo Close, off Emmanuel Street, Maryland, Lagos]

Dates: Monday 5th October and Tuesday 6th October 2015

• Kenya - Nairobi

Venue: Kenyan National Theatre [ The Kenyn Cultural Centre, Harry Thuku Rd, Nairobi] 

Dates: Saturday 10 October 2015

• South Africa - Johannesburg

Venue: Urban Brew Studios [28 Harley Street, Ferndale, Randburg]

Dates: Wednesday 14 October and Thursday 15th October 2015

Notes for auditions; Scripts will be provided at the audition venue on the day of the audition. If you cant make it on the provided dates, you can audition online by sending a video clip of yourself performing a monologue to BET Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.
