TV Viewers Duped By K2 Twins | TV Show exposed for fake content
A scandal has engulfed DSTV channel 144 kykNET after an exposé revealed that the show hosted by the famous twins, Charlie and Alex Kotze, is fake.
According to Netwerk24 the home improvement show Oulap se Rooi presented by the K2 Twins has been giving make-overs to the rooms and garden of the house of the show's co-producer Francois van Wyk, instead of to viewers.
The scathing report has revealed that the show's producers have been cheating by having friends of co-producer Francois van Wykpretending to be viewers and making as if Francois van Wyk's property is their own, while Charlie and Alex Kotze do room improvements.
The biggest problem with this situation is the fraud that has been perpetrated by the production team. It is one thing to fake content but when you actively mislead people, ask them submit requests, take money from the sponsors with the premise that you helping people; THAT IS FRAUD!!

As for the K2 Twins, this can not be good for their personal brand. They were aware of the ruse and therefore are liable for any repercussions that should follow this fraud.
So far, KyKNET has not pulled the show from its lineup. Vuzu had to pull Somizi Mhlongo's reality show after some legal issues arose following an alleged fight during filming, the same fate befell Rich Kids of Jozi when it was revealed that some of the participants lied.
Apparently the fraud committed by the producers of Oulap se Rooi does not warrant any such action from DSTV or the Channel. The show continues and next week viewers will see a garden make-over — which also happens to be the garden of Francois van Wyk's home.
FTR: Top Billing presenter Ursula Chikane co-produces the show. So far, no evidence that her house received any renovation as part of this.
