Cassper Nyovest To Stands To Loose R1million But Inspires An Industry and Nation.

Local Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest revealed at a press conference this week, just few weeks ahead of his much anticipated #FillUpTheDome concert, that he stands to lose R1 million with his ‪concert‬ dream.

For some reason I am even more proud of him now than before. He has made his dream a reality even if in the end he will lose money.

Truth is, regardless of what happens in terms of his financial investment in the project, he benefit for the star is that from that moment on he will always have the audacious honour of having been the first. Yeah he can always say; I'm the best. I filled the Dome.

Sadly for the competition, that will go down in history as an indisputable fact of our industry and his name will forever be associated with having being a trailblazer and pioneer. Someone else can fill a bigger venue in future but Cassper will always remain, THE ONE WHO STARTED IT ALL.

As far as the money is concerned, in the long run he will make money because this achievement has solidified his star power and brand viability. What sponsor wouldnt wanna be associated with a winning guy like this after that? Next time sponsors will come running because he would have a proven track record. He will make that R1 million back.

Cassper also confirmed the supporting acts for his concert. Anatii, Major League DJz, Riky Rick and more acts were announced to have signed on for  the show on 31 October at the TicketPro Dome.

For his motivation to push this huge goal, the rapper told the media that the idea for the show is to inspire young kids and put a good reflection on other local artists that they can host their own big shows here in Mzansi.

I am not much of a Hip Hop fan but I am a fan of big dreamers, trendsetters and pioneers. Cassper Nyovest ticks all those boxes and I am very proud of him. Who knew behind all that frivolity of social media antics there was a sound, goal driven, rolemodel ....
