Igazi Beats Our Perfect Wedding To Become No.1 Show on Mzansi Magic

Fans of the hit Mzansi Magic drama series Igazi may have felt disappointed by the series's season finale but for the month of June they tuned it in big numbers to make iGazi the number one show on Mzansi Magic. 

According to the latest June TAMS results, the Ferguson Films produced isiXhosa drama, which ended its first season this past on3 July, beat the long running Mzansi Magic juggernaut Our Perfect Wedding to be come the most watched show on the channel. .

The highest rated episode in  June pulled 1,289,272 viewers, ahead of  My Perfect Wedding and isiBaya who attracted 1,226,037 and 1,029,891 viewers respectively.

The episode aired on Sunday June 12th and enjoyed a 14.1 audience share with a respectable 3.8 AR.

It is very much expected that the show will get a second season. One can only hope that the flawed season finale is not an indication of the show losing its plot. 

No word yet on when the second season will air.
