The World's Most Valuable Brands 2017


Apple has been named the world's most valuable brand for the seventh straight year, worth $170 billion by Forbes'. That is a  67% more than second-ranked Google. 


Apple stands alone for its ability to generate massive profits through premium pricing and insatiable demand for its products around the globe. However according to Brand Finance’s Global 500 report for 2017, Apple’s brand value has dropped by 27% since 2016 whilst Forbes puts it at 10%.

The most valuable fashion brand in the world is LOUIS VUITTON which comes in on the list at number 20 of all brands. Its brand value is $28.8bil with a company ad spend of $4.7bil. 


NIKE at number 16 of overall brands is the most valuable sports brand in the world. with a $29.6bil brand value and a $3.3bil company ad spending.
