e.tv revamps schedule this September

e.tv is set to introduce a revamped schedule this September. The changes come in light of the addition of premium international content and a shift in the strategy of the channel.

Days Of Our Lives will air Mondays to Fridays on e.tv at 5:30PM from 4 September. Days Of Our Lives has been a staple show on local television screens for many years and now has a new home on e.tv and long-time fans of the show can now enjoy the soapie in prime time.

Fans of the crime and investigation programming will be pleased to know that these shows will remain in the e family of channels. This programming will bolster the offering on e Extra, which is available on OpenView HD (Channel 105) and DStv (Channel 195).

The channel's music show, Club 808, moves from 6PM to 4:30PM from Friday 8 September, meaning that The Steve Harvey Show will only broadcast every Monday to Thursday at 4:30PM.

Broken Vows will move to 6:30PM on weekdays with eNews Direct taking the weekly 8PM slot on e.tv. Broken Vows will now kick off the popular 90 Minutes Of Drama slot every weekday at 6:30PM which is then followed by Rhythm City at 7PM and Scandal! at 7:30PM.

"The television broadcast industry is constantly evolving and the channel needs to ensure that it delivers top quality entertainment.

The objective of this revamped schedule is to stay in line with the trends of the television industry and bring our viewers the best in local and international content in prime time slots across the e family of channels.” says Marlon Davids, Managing Director of e.tv.
